Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM)

Every Door Direct Mail in Minneapolis: reach the exact streets where your best customers live.

Digital ads reach people who are searching. Direct mail reaches the homeowner with a 20-year-old furnace who has not thought about it yet. USPS Every Door Direct Mail lets you pick those streets, and we handle every step.

Residential mailbox receiving an Every Door Direct Mail postcard in Minneapolis
MinneapolisServing the Twin Cities metro

Every Door Direct Mail is a USPS program that delivers your mailer to every address on chosen carrier routes without needing a mailing list, at postage rates well below first-class. For a Twin Cities service business, that means you can blanket the 1990s-built neighborhoods of Maple Grove before furnace season, or the pre-1970 homes of South Minneapolis with a sewer line offer, for a fraction of what a list-based campaign costs.

FluxKore Labs runs EDDM end to end: route selection using demographic and housing data, a mailer designed to be kept, print production, USPS paperwork and drop-off, and tracking that shows exactly which routes called.

Route selection is where the money is made or lost

We overlay USPS carrier routes with home age, home value, owner occupancy, household income and, where relevant, your own customer map. A roofer targets routes where homes are 18 to 25 years old; a med spa targets income and age bands; a remodeler targets high-value, owner-occupied streets near recent permits. Routes are ranked and the first drop goes to the top tier so you learn quickly which profile responds.

A mailer people keep

Most mail is judged in the two seconds between the mailbox and the recycling bin. We design oversized postcards and folded pieces with one clear offer, a real photo of your team or work, a short proof point such as a review count or a guarantee, and a deadline. Every piece carries a unique tracking phone number and a QR code that leads to a matching landing page, so response is measured, not guessed.

Seasonal timing is planned a quarter ahead: HVAC in April and September, roofing after spring storm season, landscaping in March, tax and legal services in January.

Print, paperwork and delivery, handled

We manage printing on heavy stock with your brand colors matched, bundle the pieces to USPS specifications, complete the EDDM documentation and deliver to the correct post offices. You approve a proof; the next thing you see is the phone ringing.

FAQ

Every Door Direct Mail questions, answered

How much does an EDDM campaign cost in Minneapolis?

All-in, including design, printing, postage and tracking, most campaigns land between $0.45 and $0.75 per piece. A 5,000-piece drop therefore runs roughly $2,300 to $3,750. Repeat drops cost less because design is already done.

How many pieces should I mail?

Enough to learn something: usually 3,000 to 10,000 for a first drop across your top-ranked routes, followed by repeat drops to the routes that responded. Consistency beats one big blast.

What response rate should I expect?

Home services typically see 0.5 to 2 percent response on a strong offer to well-chosen routes, but the number that matters is cost per booked job, which we report for every drop.

Can I target specific neighborhoods or just ZIP codes?

Carrier routes are much smaller than ZIP codes, often a few hundred homes, so we can target down to the neighborhood level and skip apartments or areas outside your service radius.

Does direct mail still work with everything online?

For service businesses it works better than ever because mailboxes are less crowded. It also reinforces your digital presence: homeowners who receive a mailer and then see your video ads or Map Pack listing convert at a higher rate.
